What do people say about their Wingspread Farm Experience?

What A Gem!

I am so sad I JUST found out about this cute little farm 2 years after I moved to the area and 5 months before moving to Utah. 😞 I wish I would’ve known sooner but the owners assured me I could order online! 😍

This is a very cute farm with absolutely amazing products and friendly owners. They strive for the best and always love meeting new people.

The lady is an absolute darling which recently turned vegan. As a vegan for 13 years I needed to give her a hug. We ended up talking for a while about her journey.

All her sweet treats are decadent BUT healthy. No crap ingredients or unnecessary sugary taste. You can feel the love she puts into every product also thinking about health.

I ended up buying most of the vegan labeled products and none of them disappointed. In fact, I want to go back already and order more. They also carry the vegan brand “Rebel Cheese” which I have been dying to try for ages. It’s WORTH every penny and it’s hands down top three best 🌱 cheeses you will find in the market.

I went here for Mother’s Day and got cinnamon rolls they were delightful and everyone there was extremely kind

Wingspread Farm in Valrico is a charming farm-to-table bakery that feels like a warm embrace from the countryside, offering fresh baked goods, farm-fresh eggs, and artisanal treats that celebrate simple, wholesome flavors. This family-run spot, led by Ken and Andi, delivers an inviting experience with its open-air chicken coop, vibrant fruit trees, and a cozy farmstand open Thursday through Sunday. With its standout cinnamon rolls, homemade jellies, and the option to pop in for a quick treat during the day, Wingspread Farm earns a solid five stars.

The baked goods are the heart of the menu, crafted from scratch with natural ingredients and no preservatives. The cinnamon rolls are legendary, rich Danish pastry swirled with sweet cinnamon filling and topped with a creamy glaze that melts in your mouth, available fresh on Saturdays. Pecan sticky buns ooze with gooey caramel and crunchy nuts, while the rotating selection of cookies in flavors like chocolate chip or unique specialties keeps things exciting. The artisan bread lineup shines with French baguettes that are crusty outside and soft inside, plus Hungarian soft milk bread that’s perfect for toasting. Farm-fresh eggs from uncaged chickens add a protein-packed touch, and the seasonal produce, like mangoes, guavas, limes, and avocados from on-site trees, brings the garden to your plate. Don’t miss the homemade jams and jellies–guava strawberry or habanero mango varieties burst with authentic fruit flavors, made without chemicals for a pure, tangy spread. Savory options like Hungarian salami and fine cheeses round out the offerings, making it easy to build a picnic or charcuterie board.

The value comes from the freshness and variety, with generous portions that feel indulgent yet approachable. You can swing by during the day for a single cinnamon roll or jar of jelly, ideal for a quick coffee break or snack run, with the farmstand’s laid-back setup encouraging relaxed browsing. Compared to big-box bakeries, Wingspread’s handmade quality and local sourcing make every item feel special without excess. They even have several options for those gluten intolerant like my wife and daughter.

The service is personal and heartfelt, with Ken and Andi greeting visitors like old friends, sharing stories about their sustainable practices or the chickens roaming freely. They’re quick to offer samples or tips on pairing bread with their jellies, creating a community vibe that’s as nourishing as the food. The farm is clean and disability-friendly, with paved paths and covered seating for comfortable lingering, plus the joyful sight of chickens doing their thing adds a fun, kid-friendly element.

Wingspread Farm is more than a bakery; it’s a slice of rural joy in Valrico. Whether grabbing a quick pastry or stocking up on eggs and produce, the wholesome treats and welcoming spirit make every visit delightful. For its exceptional baked goods, fresh farm offerings, and genuine hospitality, Wingspread Farm gets five stars. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving artisan flavors and a touch of farm life.

Dynamite cinnamon rolls! Not too sweet and with the most robust cinnamon flavor I have ever experienced in a cinnamon roll. They also have good cheeses. My favorite is the Kentucky bourbon. 👍
Santo DiPiazza

There is no place like this in the area. Worth a drive. The bread, cinnamon rolls, and other goodies are fresh. If you time it right you can get it warm! Hot cinnamon rolls out of the oven is as good as it gets! This place is a must! If you want to eat fresh food, highest quality ingredients then you should go to Wingspread! They even feed their chickens with quality feed and keep their chicken coops clean. Love this place!
—John Coglianese

—Donna Porto

Best Cinnamon Rolls! Andi is a master in the kitchen. From the cinnamon rolls to breads to baguettes to cookies, Andi always delivers deliciousness. Farmer Ken is so welcoming and friendly. He always has a smile, and is so knowledgeable about the products Andi bakes, their chickens, and eggs. Highly recommend.
—Tricia Weeks

Great little find on our way for Strawberry picking. Ken and his wife Andie are very welcoming. Ken showed and explained the chicken coop area (the kids loved it). The homemade goods were a splendid midday snack. We got the baguette, pomegranate jelly, and cheese. The cookies were just as wonderful. Andie gave us a cinnamon bun to try and it was delicious, even without the frosting. A definite stop if you’re in the area.
Joseph Gaudio

The place is very true and I did love the salon and the cookies so go visit
—Lol Santiago

Nice little farm and friendly owners. We bought some baked goods that were grossly overpriced and not very tasty. Hopefully the other items for sale in the small shop are better. We were disappointed after reading the raving reviews.
—Fred Gakstetter

I am so late with this review that I feel guilty. Guilty because the food is so good and Ken and Andi are such genuinely nice people. We passed by their little piece of paradise several times last winter before I took the time to venture down their driveway. I almost instantly regretted not doing so much sooner (and with my wife, Linda). I looked around a bit and I poked my head in their little store before Ken made his appearance. I could talk to this man for hours. He filled me in on their story and I knew right then that I had to bring Linda back. I took a baguette and eggs back home and she was hooked. A lot of bakers try really hard with baguettes, but not many master it. Andi is definitely a pro. We are snowbirds and made several return trips for more eggs, baguettes, cookies, and other goodies. Can’t wait to get back there this winter.
—Farmer Deane

Ken and Andi are the best! Locally grown produce, fresh free range eggs, and the best baked goods you’ll find anywhere in the Valrico/Brandon area. You’ll even get a tour of the chicken farm from the man himself! Must stop for anyone looking for a local farm with personal service.
—Thomas Phelps

I go here for the Cinnamon Rolls and stay for the atmosphere and friendly conversations and stories. Andie is a wizard in the kitchen! Her creativity holds no bounds and Farmer Ken has such a warm and welcoming personality. So if you need a day out I say stop in for a visit and hand with the chickens. Pre-order some of her elevated rolls and bring a blanket and just hang out and have a picnic with the kids.
—Lynn

Hey friends, another review… This time Wingspread farms. Owners Ken and Andi have this beautiful lil slice of heaven tucked off Mulrennan road in Valrico, FL. They specialize in different fruits, jams, jellies, meats, pastas and bakery goods such as fresh bread, baguettes and cookies. The Mrs and I have driven by so many times we needed to stop. No kids and looking for dessert but boy, next time I’m getting fresh bread 😉 we bought 4 cookies to try for $6. We bought a chocolate chip, snicker doodle, oatmeal raisin and pecan. The pecan though wow…it had a shortbread texture like a pecan sandy with good nuttiness. The chocolate chip was crispy on the edges with a soft chewy center, delish. The snicker doodle was sugary sweet with the right amount of cinnamon. The oatmeal raisin was good with a mild oatmeal flavor with enough raisins sprinkled in. The cookies were cooked well and very enjoyable after our dinner. This is a beautiful spot, home to two owners whom enjoy what they do. They spread their joy and happiness to others with their creations. Thank you Ken, it was a pleasure to meet you. Until next friends, enjoy what you eat! Peace!

Amazing!! I can’t believe it’s so close to where I live. I honestly didn’t know it existed until a couple of days ago. I wish I had known sooner.

This hidden gem of a farm is on Pearson Road in Valrico. You wouldn’t even know it was there without the signs out front. They are open Thursday through Sunday. They have various breeds of chickens, and it’s a delight to watch them all living in their own habitat. They even have a salad bar. They take great care of these chickens. You can totally see that when you visit their farm.

There are many fruit trees that include mango, lime, guava, fig, avocado, papaya, and many more that I didn’t get to see. They sell eggs, jelly, jams, relishes, pickled veggies, pasta, cheese, and seriously the best baked goods around. I bought 2 baguettes and a banana chocolate chip bread loaf called “Minky’s” that my husband and I ate in less than 2 days. The guava jelly is simply amazing! Forget about the store bought Goya jellies. This guava jelly is the real deal. So much flavor, and all natural. I think they name their cookies using the names of their chickens. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong about this. I just think it’s so smart and cute. I mean, it’s their eggs being used so why not? I love it!!

My husband really likes the Jammin’ P.P.O. XXX hot relish/jam. It was too hot for me, but he really liked the taste of the papaya, pepper, and onion mixture. It’s made with about 4 different hot peppers. It comes in different heat levels.

I can’t wait to go back. I may actually start placing pre-orders for breads and cinnamon rolls. It seems that they sell out of baked goods quickly. I’ll need to stay informed of when to order by looking at their FB page. Ken was so helpful and friendly. Great service!

What an awesome place to get fresh from the farm items! Thank you so much for providing such great products!
Karen V

I checked out Wingspread Farm yesterday for the first time. I had high expectations because I had been following them on Facebook for months. I was blown away! There are so many chickens to watch run around and play. The coops are well taken care of so there’s no offensive odors. All the cookies and bread are homemade. In addition to fresh baked goods, they also sell a variety of cheeses and meats. I can absolutely see myself becoming a regular.
—Jeff Sheloske

My husband discovered this hidden gem first and I couldn’t believe that tucked away amid the subdivisions was an amazingly clean farm with fresh baked bread, sweet loafs,, cookies ,fresh eggs (so many colors) from the beautiful chickens they keep.Ken and Andi are such a very friendly, helpful down to earth couple.Ken can usually be found somewhere behind the chicken coops! The farm is just wonderful with a large selection of cheeses, jams/jellies. as well as the fresh breads, cookies etc. I can’t drive past without going to see what goodies are available! I won’t buy bread, cookies, and fruit loaf slices anywhere else and I doubt you could even find all the flavors of cookies and sweet breads made by Andi, anywhere else.I live close by but definitely woth the visit because I guarantee you will leave with all kinds of delicious treats.Great place to buy treats to fill a Christmas gift basket.Ken and Andi totally deserve the awards they have received.
—Carolina R
